About Us

Clear answers for one of the biggest money decisions you’ll make

SellStructuredSettlement.online is an independent education site. We explain how selling structured settlement payments works, what it really costs, and how to protect yourself, in plain English.

Our promise

Education, not a sales pitch.

Our story

Why we started

“To empower people to access the money they need without falling for industry traps or misinformation.”
Our mission

SellStructuredSettlement.online is a blog dedicated to educating consumers about structured settlements — and how to make the best decisions when it comes to selling them.

A structured settlement usually comes after a hard chapter in someone’s life: an injury, a lawsuit, a loss. The steady payments are meant to provide security, but life doesn’t always fit a fixed schedule. Medical bills, a home repair, or a chance to start over can make money today worth more than money years from now.

Selling some or all of those future payments can help, but the process is confusing. Quotes are hard to compare, discount rates and fees are easy to miss, and not every buyer has your interests at heart. We started this site so you can understand your options, ask the right questions, and make the decision that is right for you, whether that means selling or keeping your payments.

How we work

  • Independent

We don’t buy settlements or broker deals, so we have no reason to push you toward a sale.

  • Plain English

Legal and financial jargon is explained, not hidden. If a term matters, we define it.

  • Seller first

Every guide is written from the point of view of the person selling, not the company buying.

  • Grounded in the rules

We lean on the law and official guidance, like state protection acts and the IRS, rather than sales claims.

What we are not

We are not a settlement buyer, broker, law firm, or financial adviser, and nothing on this site is legal, tax, or financial advice. Selling payments requires court approval and the rules vary by state, so speak with a qualified professional before you decide.
